ABOUT ME

This coffee is grown less than 12km from the nearby town of Uraga in the Guji Zone – a region gaining reputation for some of the best and most distinctive coffees of Ethiopia.

All coffee from the various small holder farmers is picked by hand and brought down to the washing station to be processed. The washing station, also called Uraga, was established in 2017 and has 30 permanent and 320 temporary staff members during peak harvest. This coffee has been carefully processed naturally, where the cherries are dried with fruit intact, imparting wonderful, complex and undeniably moreish characters into the bean.

We threw down the spoon and picked up the cupping bowl on this one. We love it!
