ABOUT ME
Located at the foothills of the Guayacundo and San Pedro in the Cundinamarca Department, Ubaque is a region rich in biodiversity, plentiful rainfall and fertile soils. The name comes from a native flora's red sap Ybaquye meaning 'blood of wood' and the area was ruled by the indigenous Chief Ebaque of the Musica Civilization. Legend has it that no conquering was done without a rich and smooth brew in the morning.
Our Ubaque is comprised from the fruit of 43 families that share around 50 hectares of shaded Castillo and Typica varietals. The fruit is fully washed then sun dried on patios. This particular lot was a standout on the cupping table when tasted at origin during the recent harvest period.
