Finca El Molinito is located in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec region of El Salvador, well known for its fantastic volcanic soil, high altitude and tropical micro-climates which makes for an unparalleled environment for growing coffee.
The importance of selective picking has become a trademark of El Molinito’s culture and success. Great time and effort goes into training and educating pickers on the best ways to select only the ripest cherries, going back to the same tree sometimes six times during the harvest period.
